Friendly competition
Good golf is celebrated, questionable golf is remembered, and everyone is welcome to join in.
The Griff & Coton Golf Society brings people together through golf, good company and a shared determination to make a difference. We enjoy the competition, but the friendships, stories and causes behind every event matter just as much.
We are part of the Griff and Coton Sports and Social Club in Nuneaton: a group of golfers who enjoy friendly competition, regular days out and the social side of the game.
Our society is about making golf welcoming and enjoyable. Whether it is a society day, a presentation evening or a challenge for charity, everyone plays their part and nobody takes themselves too seriously.
In 2026, we are taking on our biggest challenge yet: attempting to drive a golf ball more than one million yards in 24 hours in support of Prostate Cancer UK.
Good golf is celebrated, questionable golf is remembered, and everyone is welcome to join in.
The days out matter, but so do the laughs, friendships and stories that come home with us.
We use our events and challenges to raise awareness and funds for causes that matter to our members.
Regular rounds bring the group together for friendly competition, plenty of laughs and the occasional shot worth talking about.
Our events and presentation evenings give everyone the chance to catch up, celebrate the winners and relive the season's best moments.
Our biggest challenge so far: non-stop hitting for 24 hours at DJ's Indoor Golf, raising money for Prostate Cancer UK.
This area is ready for photographs from golf days, social events and the charity challenge.
Send over the photographs you would like included and they can be added here as a clean, responsive gallery without changing the rest of the page.
